About the film

HUNGER explores emotional emptiness, trauma, and human hunger — both internal and physical, metaphorical and literal.

The characters are caught between the luxury of the external world and the chaos of their inner world. The film is about the introspective perception of reality, about how people react to their past traumas and the desire for control or escape from past events.

Hunger is:

  • Hunger for love
  • Hunger for validation
  • Hunger for identity
  • Hunger to see and acknowledge the truth

Everything is reduced to body, space, and repetition. The repetitions are not mistakes — they are a structural diagnosis of trauma.

This is a film that is not explained — but lived through.
